so i’m getting really annoyed with facebook right now cause my news feed is literally all white people being like, “this isn’t solidarity! we’re embarrassing ourselves! nobody’s handling this right!” and, even worse, “this whole thing was blown out of proportion.”
k guess what. we all, as white folks, DON’T GET TO SAY THAT. our role, as white people on this campus, is to shut up and listen. we don’t get it, we don’t get to pretend we do. shut the fuck up.

in tears over this hate speech business at oberlin right now. what on earth makes people think it’s OK to behave this way?
last night someone was spotted walking around south campus in traditional KKK attire.
